  20. At the NewTek "Screamer" Party I had a throwaway Kodak ASA 400 
  21. film camera w/flash with me and I shot a few pics of people in
  22. the patio during the pre-video party. When I got home, I scanned
  23. a couple of the photos and have uploaded them to Aminet
  24. where they now live.

  26. kikiscream.jpeg is a 768x480 JPEG compressed 24 bit image of
  27. NewTek's (in?)famous Kiki Stockhammer wearing an..uh.. interesting
  28. costume caught during mid-yell at someone off-camera. Seemed like
  29. an apropos pose to catch her in considering the theme of the party.

  32. sigparty.jpeg is a 768x480 JPEG compressed 24 bit image of 
  33. Mark Thompson, John Grieggs, Steve Worley, Glenn Lewis, and a 
  34. couple other 3D guys not so well known (sorry, other guys), around
  35. one of the party tables in the patio at the Wax Museum,
  36. drinking and carrying on. The photo is labelled as to who is who.
  37. This one should be in /pub/aminet/pix/misc.

  39. Both pics are also in the Amiga Zone on The Portal Online System.

  41. Both pics were scanned by me from developed print film on my Epson
  42. ES300C flatbed color scanner, and then twiddled with ADPro and
  43. OpalPaint before JPEGging. OpalPaint has a *wonderful* paint mode called
  44. "sharpen" which can be applied to any area of a picture and really
  45. works wonders on less than sharp source material. It was applied to
  46. both of these pics to bring them into focus.

  50. pics travels with them as well.
